In my adult life, I have never bought anything on credit.
“And now, the glove into dove trick!” He threw a white magician’s glove into the air. It hit the floor and lay there. He stared at it and then went on to the next trick.
All entertainment is or is about to become old-fashioned.
Despite a lack of natural ability, I did have the one element necessary to all early creativity: naïveté, that fabulous quality that keeps you from knowing just how unsuited you are for what you are about to do.
They aren’t there to see the opener.
